Event Details
Are you in the greater DC metro? Do you hire college students or recent grads? Join our world class presenters on Wed 12/7 or Thu 12/8 for a one day conference that is guaranteed to make your college relations efforts more effective and efficient. College job board CollegeRecruiter.com, HR solutions provider RECSOLU, and The George Washington University Career Center, have teamed up to host a half day, non-profit, no selling, purely educational event for hiring managers, recruiters, and other human resource professionals involved in college recruiting.
Just look at the agenda below as there is something for everyone. Thinking about starting a college program, covered; wondering what mobile recruiting means for college, covered; want to know how to plan/execute a great intern conference, covered; and plenty more. Choose the day that is best for your type of recruiting - Wednesday, December 7th for those who work for non-profit, corporate, government contractors, and other private sector organizations and Thursday, December 8th for those who work for local, state, and federal government organizations. Lunch is included!
To ensure maximum content delivery, we’ll utilize the TedX format of 18 minute presentations followed by 12 minutes of networking breaks. This ensures a fast moving program with a large number of highly relevant presentations along with ample time for peer-to-peer networking among attendees.
Why you don’t want to miss this event:
- Where else will you see this line-up of speakers with this level of real experience for this price? Let’s be real, it’s amazing!!!
- Isn’t it time to invest in yourself and find out what you can do to have a better college program underway?
- When is the last time you networked among your peers? Not virtually but in person? That’s what we thought…so we’ll see you right?
- Is December, the National Christmas Tree is lit, it’s the Nation’s capital and we’re right off the Metro. And shopping, we’ll we leave that up to you.
Alright, we’ve made out case. The rest is up to you to invest in yourself and your career networking efforts. We hope to see and meet you soon.
A word about the organizers - the two Steve’s. Steven Rothberg and Steve Tiufekchiev are passionate about college recruiting- they better be as they’ve been in this space for a long time. So, they put their collective heads together to come up with a conference format that was innovate in a number of ways. Their goals were simple:
- Only employers focused on college recruiting may participate
- There will be a strict “No Selling Zone” at the podium
- Presenters must be largely of the peer group, and not professionals or vendors. They should speak from their experiences, are willing to share their successes, and even tribulations in managing their college programs, so all others may benefit
- Provide lots of time for networking. After all, successful people need to develop strong networks.
- It would have to be fun and offer everyone a safe place to share ideas and concepts
So far, we think we’re off to a good start. Our last event sold out, and we expect this one to also (check the seats left counter on this page).
